🔒 Breeding endorsements—puppies are not sold for breeding
Our puppies come from carefully chosen parents with excellent pedigrees, fantastic temperaments, and a strong emphasis on health and quality. The parents have undergone health testing for POAG and Lafora disease, ensuring that our puppies are not expected to inherit these conditions. We can provide health-test documentation for prospective owners seeking to buy Basset Hounds.
One unique aspect of Orchdachz is that prospective families can meet Mum, her Aunt, and her Gran in person. We believe that this opportunity to meet several generations offers families a valuable insight into the lines, temperaments, and heritage behind our Basset Hound puppies.
As our puppies grow, they receive extensive positive handling and socialisation, ensuring they develop into confident, well-adjusted family companions.
🔒 Why do we endorse our puppies?
Our puppies are placed under breeding endorsements as part of our responsible breeding program. This practice protects the Orchdachz lines, enables careful management of future breeding, and helps safeguard the health, quality, and temperament we've diligently established over generations.
Every Orchdachz puppy departs with a puppy registration, veterinary health check, first vaccination, four weeks’ free insurance, and our commitment to providing lifetime support.
